Hurricane Kayaks has been around for decades, and they were one of a handful of companies that were "all in" on polycarbonate/ABS thermoformed boats.

You'll notice that there's no "About Us" on the Hurricane Kayaks website. That's not because they're hiding something, it's because the owner and founder Don is a humble and gracious man, who doesn't call attention to himself in any way. He's just Don.

Hurricane makes some of the lightest boats for the money you can find. They focus on the recreational user, the paddler who wants a stable, comfortable boat that they can pick up and load themselves. They're some of our best selling kayaks and they share a lot of technology and design ideas with their sister companies, Liquidlogic and Native Watercraft.
