You know how Honda has Acura and Toyota has Lexus? Same quality, just different levels of niceties. Venture Kayaks is the Honda/Toyota to the elite P&H sea kayak line. Same great family owned business, they just wanted to make some kayaks that didn't make a lot of sense as P&H branded boats.

The Venture Kayaks are more recreational and for day touring, and they're just as well made, just as well designed, and just as well finished. You just won't find a lot of bells and whistles, just comfort and performance. Made in Great Britain, these kayaks are a little less glitzy than similar boats in the US. They're British, after all; the folks that gave us the old Land Rover that would climb out of a hole and up a tree.
