Ranging from shipwrecks, to submerged docks, to historic waterfronts, Society maritime archaeologists work to share information of these historic resources with the public through education and outreach. Recently, the Maritime Preservation Office has been focusing efforts toward educating paddlers on the historic resources lying mere feet beneath their paddles so they can help preserve and protect these important and unique resources. bookmark
