You're invited to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin! The Beaver Dam Lake is surrounded on the north shoreline by farmland, so you can relax in this beautiful, rural getaway and watch Pelicans and other waterfowl in their habitat. At more than 6500 acres and 41 miles of shoreline there's plenty of outdoor adventure opportunities from fishing, duck hunting, boating and paddling to snowmobiling and cross country skiing. There is productive fishing (open water and ice fishing) Walleye, Northern Pike, Large-Mouth Bass and pan fish a plenty. Kayaking the Beaver Dam river is an adventure at every corner. Start from the urban city center and watch the landscape change to rural farmland and wooden cooridors as you meet both challenging whitewaters and lazy river sections. Follow the @beaverpaddlers on Facebook for weekend paddle reports and river flow rates for your safety.
