Ironman Wisconsin Kayak and SUP Volunteers Lobby: L09
1826 Chadbourne Ave Madison, WI 53726 www.visitmadison.com/ironman-wisconsin/volunteer/		Each September, Destination Madison and the Madison Sports Commission seek to recruit 200 kayak and 40 SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) owners to volunteer for the Ironman Wisconsin Triathlon Swim Safety Team. These volunteers are crucial in supporting nearly 1,800 swimmers each day, serving as the eyes and ears on the water. Whether offering their bow for a brief rest or signaling with an orange flag for more assistance, they play a vital role in ensuring swimmer safety. Once flagged, Ironman's power boats, jet skis, and agency boats, all staffed with lifeguards, are ready to respond.
