  David Inskeep

Born with a love of nature, David has enjoyed a lifetime of paddling, hiking, backpacking, camping, nature study, and road trips to natural wonders throughout the US. Since he was a small boy David has been writing songs that reflect his experiences and interests. David started out farming for 8 years before switching to commercial and residential construction until he was nearly 30. Then, after working his way through college as a biology lab technician and field research assistant he became a high school science teacher. After many years of entertaining around the campfire, in church, or in the classroom, David seeks to share his music with a wider audience through live performance and studio recordings. David considers Canoecopia to be the ideal place to share his songs!

Bear - upstairs Sat 12:30pm-1:15pm
Expect to come away humming a new tune when you join singer/songwriter, musician, and paddling enthusiast David Inskeep for an entertaining set of original paddling and outdoor living songs. Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar and occasional harmonica, David writes and sings catchy, upbeat, folk/country style tunes. Including titles such as Paddler’s Rendezvous, Ride the River, Jambo on the Flambeau, and Crooked Path, David’s songs tell stories and describe scenes that will delight paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts alike!
