Kate Prince is the Project Manager of the Wabakimi Boreal Caribou Citizen Monitoring Project, combining her passion for conservation, community involvement, and paddling in wild places. Having spent her adult life as a wood canvas canoe builder and her entire life as a canoe tripper, Kate has explored Canada's remote areas each summer, "field testing" her handcrafted canoes. As an advocate for citizen science, Kate is eager to share with other paddlers this opportunity to give an important purpose to the wilderness canoe trip adventures that many of us embark on as often as we can, to embody the spirit of adventure and environmental stewardship.
