Erin's passion for our waterways was born from the many days she spent paddling, fishing, and swimming in the river as a child. While in college, Erin spent her summers working as an ecological technician; through this experience she gained a deeper appreciation for our natural resources and an interest in preventing the spread of harmful invasive species. She is now the Outreach Coordinator at Invasive Species Action Network (ISAN), where she works to protect our waters from aquatic invasive species (AIS) through outreach and education. Erin truly believes that education is the greatest tool for preventing the spread of AIS. |

Jasmine Wyant
Jasmine was born in the Midwest and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Wisconsin with focuses in surface mine reclamation and restoration ecology respectively. Jasmine has worked extensively in conservation and education while in positions as a natural resource contractor, with natural resource conservation nonprofits like the Prairie Enthusiasts and Goldensands RC&D Inc, and as an instructor of animal biology at UW-Madison. Jasmine enjoys gardening, playing ultimate frisbee, and any activity that gets her out amongst the fellow residents of the land and water like hiking, kayaking, camping, and nature photography.

Join us for an interactive discussion about the impacts of aquatic invasive species (AIS) in Wisconsin and beyond. We'll be bringing up expert guest speaker Jasmine Wyant from Upper Sugar River Watershed Association to answer all of your questions about AIS and teach you how to protect the places you paddle. Following our guest speaker, test your knowledge for a chance to win prizes during our AIS trivia competition!
