Pete has nearly 40 canoe trips to Quetico Provincial Park on his paddling resume', most of which he has taken with his friends Jon & Bryan who introduced him to Quetico in 1986. He has planned short trips, long trips, base-camping trips and travel-every-day trips to the park and has used several different entry points in order to explore different areas of the park. He also helped plan and lead his Scout Troop on their first ever canoeing high adventure trip.

Quetico Provincial Park is a fabulous canoeing destination located adjacent to the Boundary Waters, but just over the international border in Ontario, Canada. Quetico has lakes, portages and over 2,000 campsites scattered over it's one million acres. And with annual visitors numbering only 10% of the number who visit the BWCA, Quetico paddlers get a fantastic wilderness experience filled with solitude and great fishing. It's not uncommon to go several days without seeing another canoe.
Pete's presentation will focus on all the special things about Quetico and how to plan a trip to this wonderful wilderness. His power point presentation will focus on how to plan a trip, an explanation of entry points and routes, getting the proper permits and lots of other helpful information for anyone who wants to plan a trip to Quetico.
